Who are We?

Blackthorn Theatre Company is a group of young directors, actors and writers based in Cork City and County. The company was founded by members of the acclaimed April 2008 PBC Cork production of Brian Friel's "Philadelphia Here I Come!" but have since been strengthened by several young veterans of the city's performing arts scene. Our aim is to produce high quality theatrical productions.

After the huge success of our maiden production Prisoners we have now established ourselves as one of Cork's leading young theatre companies and hope to put our creativity into many more productions in the coming years.
